Report An Outage

Report an outage fast by calling the Automated Outage Reporting System.

If you should experience a power outage, call:

1.843.675.LREC (5732) or 1.866.675.LREC (5732)

Your outage will be recorded and servicemen will be immediately dispatched to restore the power as quickly as possible. Please make sure that Lynches River has your home phone number on file to ensure a fast response. Find out why your phone number is important.

Help Us Restore Your Power

If your power fails: please turn off all household appliances, computers, televisions, air conditioning and heating units, etc. When power is restored, turn on all items as needed one at a time.

Power Restoration During Major Outages

Lynches River Electric Cooperative crews will work around the clock until all power is restored. Read the pdf document about how the restoring power process works.

During a major outage, power will be restored in the following priority:

  • Substations
  • Main Feeder Lines
  • Taps off of the Main Feeder Lines
  • Individual Service Drops
