CO-OP Annual Meeting is September 26, 2009Article published on Monday, August 31, 2009 Lynches River Electric Cooperative announces the 70th Annual Meeting of Members on Saturday, September 26 at Central High School in Pageland. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and will continue until the start of the business meeting at 11 a.m.The annual meeting will feature fun, food, music and door prizes. Volunteers will sell food throughout the day. Pee Dee Bluegrass will provide a medley of musical entertainment and homespun humor from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. Health care vendors will provide health screenings and information at the Health Fair from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Central High School cafeteria. While at the health fair members and their families will have the opportunity to donate blood to the American Red Cross. Co-op officials will present a report on the business of the cooperative at the business meeting. There is also an election of one Trustee for District 7. Lynches River Electric Cooperative would like to invite all cooperative members to attend.The registration card and PHOTO ID ARE NECCESSARY to enter the annual meeting and vote. Registration cards are located on the front of the September issue of the South Carolina Living magazine. Members with a registration card will be eligible for a special prize drawing.
