"Our operating cost have come down so we are passing the savings on to our members," says Lynches River CEO David Altman.Lynches River is able to lower rates due to the cooperative's efforts to streamline operating efficiency to hold down costs without sacrificing service to members. As a non-profit organization there is no reason to charge more than necessary to meet the cooperative's financial obligations.
