Members, we have important news to share! Lynches River Electric Cooperative (LREC) and RiverNet Connect (RNC) will be undergoing a software conversion beginning at the end of June. On July 10, we will launch our new SmartHub web portal and mobile app. SmartHub has many new features to help you save time and money, including daily use charts, alerts and notifications and more.
RNC will begin the software conversion on June 29 at 10 p.m. LREC will begin the conversion on July 2 at 10 p.m. Please note the difference in conversion starting dates for RNC and LREC.
Here are important details to know:
Member experience temporarily affected
The current online portal and smart app used to make payments will be permanently disabled. That will affect any customers who use our online system for payments, auto-pay and paperless billing. For those using these features, download the new app and set up your account on the new Smarthub platform.
Cash and check payments won’t be able to be made in our office or at any remote location, but you can still mail your payment or drop it in the night drop box at the LREC/RNC office. Payments will not be posted to your account until the new system is in place. Because of this transition, late charges will be waived during this time. The LREC/RNC office will be closed to the public starting on July 3 and will reopen on July 10 at 8 a.m.
SmartHub live July 10
Once Smarthub is live, you may go to our new SmartHub page to find links and instructions on how to manage your account like never before through our web portal or mobile app.
Our office will be open for all payments and services. If you are currently on credit card draft, you will need to sign into the app to set your account back up. Unfortunately, credit card drafts will not transfer to our new system. If you are on bank/savings draft, you won’t need to do anything. Your draft will continue with no worries.
