As we did last year, this year’s meeting will be conducted entirely via drive-thru. Members are kindly requested to remain in their cars throughout the process. Registration and voting for trustees will take place on Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Please note that to be eligible to vote, you must be present on the cooperative’s property by the specified end time on each respective day.
In accordance with the cooperative’s bylaws, a nominating committee, appointed by the Board of Trustees, convened on July 28. During this meeting, the following members were nominated for trustees within their respective districts. The elected trustees will serve a three-year term.
- District 4: Mike Crawford
- District 5: Mark Bridges
We have also received petitions from qualified candidates for District 2 and District 5, and their names will be presented for consideration as well.
- District 2: Hamilton Hutto
- District 5: Billy King
The business meeting will commence at 11:30 a.m. on October 21, and it will be conducted via Facebook Live on our Facebook page.
During this meeting, we will address the following matters:
1). Report from the Secretary on members present.
2). Reading of the notice of the meeting and proof of the due publication or mailing thereof, or the waiver or waivers of notice of the meeting, as the case may be.
3). Reading of the unapproved minutes of the previous meeting of the members and taking necessary action thereon.
4). Presentation and consideration of information and reports by officers, trustees, and committees.
5). Action on any business which may be properly presented or any adjournment thereof.
We encourage all members to join us for this important annual gathering, where we will discuss crucial matters related to the cooperative and elect new trustees. If you have any questions or require additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
Mark Bridges
