PAGELAND • Lynches River is proud announce a partnership with Fiber Optic Solutions (FOS), a North Carolina based full-service telecommunications contractor that specializes in building high-speed fiber networks, to conduct all of our phase one fiber line construction.
“Fiber Optic Solutions is thrilled to be awarded the opportunity to work with Lynches River and FiberRise to build this fiber to the home project,” said FOS President Cliff Churchill. “We are excited for the opportunities that high-speed broadband will bring to LREC members and the community in which they reside. We look forward to becoming an integral part of the LREC community as we help to build the future of this area.”
FOS was selected after an extensive search and interview process conducted by LREC and FiberRise, a consulting firm specializing in planning, engineering, implementing and managing fiber optic networks.
“We are extremely passionate about making this project successful so we can provide our members with top-notch fiber internet service.” said LREC President & CEO Brian Broughton. “We want to partner with people who understand how important this project is to Lynches River and the communities we serve. We’ve found that kind of partner in Cliff Churchill and Fiber Optic Solutions.”
Phase one construction will begin February 3 and will offer service to around 6,000 homes within the first year. At this time, only LREC members are eligible to receive service.
FOS will be looking to fill a variety of positions in the upcoming weeks. Interested parties can apply for these positions here. Please do not contact LREC to apply.
